Children: Ministers preach and teach within the church.
Hebrews 13:17
Have confidence in your leaders and submit to their authority, because they keep watch over you as those who must give an account. Do this so that their work will be a joy, not a burden, for that would be of no benefit to you.

Commentary:
All believers are ministers of the gospel, and yet God sets apart some men as those called to preach and teach within the gathering. Ministers work in lock step with eldership in serving the spiritual needs of the congregation. Ministers may also be called preachers as they called to proclaim, herald, or announce the gospel message. Ministers preach the Word—in season and out of season—rebuking, correcting and encouraging with great patience and teaching. They are charged with doctrinal fidelity, church unity, and spiritual leadership. The minister is tasked with equipping the people of God for works of service. They, week by week, build up the Body into maturity in Christ.
